The additional data can be activated using MyAirtel app
Good news for Airtel postpaid users, as the telecom operator has come up with a new Airtel free data offer, in the wake of the Airtel Monsoon offer expiry.
According to the latest statement by the telecom operator, under this offer, Airtel is offering up to Airtel 60 GB free data for its postpaid users, but only for downloading and installing the Airtel TV application, under which the operator is providing Live TV services. After this, the users will get 60 GB mobile data instead of 30GB that they used to get earlier. Besides this, the offer period has been increased from three to six months.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to avail a new postpaid connection and get additional data benefits from Airtel:
Step 1: Click here to go to Airtel website and look for the banner that reads ‘Get new connection’
Step 2: Choose from available plans and click next (Bonus data offer is valid on plans starting from Rs 499 onwards)
Step 3: Enter the city, other required information and click next
Step 4: You will be asked to confirm if you want to port your number, transfer prepaid-postpaid or buy a new number with the chosen plan
Step 5: Fill out the complete details in the form and click next. Once you submit the form, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order. You will also receive a call to confirm the plan details and the benefits of choosing Airtel postpaid connection.
Step 6: After the number is active, head over to App store in iOS-based smartphones and Play Store on Android-based smartphones to download MyAirtel app.
Step 7: Sign-in to MyAirtel app and click on banner that shows ‘Claim the offer’
Step 8: Check your data balance for additional data benefits
