Xiaomi announces 'Desh ka smartphone' Redmi 5A : Price & Specifications

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A will be available in two variants - one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, and the other with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The device will sell through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Homes and other offline retail channels.

It has been confirmed that Xiaomi’s upcoming ‘Desh ka Smartphone’ will be made available exclusively on Flipkart. The budget smartphone will launch in India on November 30, 2017 & is packed with 8-day battery life (standby time).

The Redmi 5A seems to a minor upgrade over the predecessor Redmi 4A. Some critical changes have been done inside the phone – especially in terms of battery & charging technology -- that makes it a compatible device to beat electricity & power woes of India.

• Xiaomi Redmi 5A features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The phone supports a hybrid SIM slot, which means uses can put in either two nano SIM cards or a SIM card and a microSD card. The phone gets a 13MP rear shooter with  f/2.2 aperture and flash. There’s a 5MP shooter on the front with f/2.0 aperture. It ships with company’s MIUI 9 software with Android Nougat. The device  is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

Vivo launches V7 with 24MP selfie camera: Price & Features

Vivo V7, as the device has been named by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, boasts of an edge-to-edge Full-Screen display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

 

After a successful run of its selfie-focused flagship smartphone V7+ in India, Chinese smartphone maker Vivo on 20th November ’17 launched V7 with the 24MP selfie and 16MP rear camera for Rs 18,990.

Moto X4 with Dual Rear Cameras launched in India: Price & Features

This IP68-certified water- and dust-resistant device was launched earlier at IFA 2017. The phone will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart.

Motorola has launched the Moto X4 in India on Monday, November 13. 

The smartphone is one of the few devices that support Amazon Alexa voice assistant, and also has an in-built support for Google Assistant. 

This IP68-certified water- and dust-resistant device was launched earlier at IFA 2017.

The Infocus Snap 4 was launched in September at a price tag of Rs 11,999

Nokia 5 launch a new 3GB RAM android phone: Price & Features

Nokia 5 with 3GB RAM has been announced for the Indian market at a price of Rs 13,499. The Nokia 5 will be Flipkart exclusive for a week & it will go on sale from November 7, 2017.

The Nokia 5 was launched back in July this year, but has only been available in 2GB RAM option all this while. Well, that changes now, as a new 3GB RAM variant of the device is being launched.

The Nokia 5 will be available in India, where retailer Flipkart will start offering it tonight. After the first sale, Nokia 5 will also be made available in select retails stores from November 14 onward. Nokia 5 with 3GB RAM will come in two colour options: Matte Black and Tempered Blue.

Nokia 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and comes with 16GB on board storage with 128GB microSD card support. The rear camera is 13MP with PDAF and 1.12um pixel size along with f/2.0 aperture. It has a dual tone flash and the front camera is 8MP with f/2.0 aperture as well. Bajaj Pulsar NS200 with ABS launched: Price & Specifications

The Pulsar NS200 is powered by a 200-cc liquid cooled engine

Bajaj Auto on 2nd November 2017 introduced a new variant of its performance motorcycle model Pulsar NS200 equipped with enhanced safety feature ABS, priced at Rs 1.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

This makes the ABS equipped NS 200, Rs 10,000 dearer than the non-ABS variant. Bajaj has also fit a larger, 300mm disc brake on the NS 200 ABS. The ABS-equipped bike is about Rs 10,000 more than the standard NS200.

Tata Tigor AMT launched at Rs 5.75 lakh

The AMT version of the Tigor will be available in two variants - XZA and XTA - with 1.2 litre petrol engine, priced at Rs 5.75 lakh and Rs 6.22 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

 

On 2nd November 2017, Tata Motors has launched the Tigor AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) in two variants, XZA and XTA - with 1.2 litre petrol engine, priced at Rs 5.75 lakh and Rs 6.22 lakh. The five-speed AMT gearbox is only available in the petrol Revotron engine that displaces 1.2 litres and puts out 85hp and 114Nm of peak torque.

The AMT on the Tigor is offered only with the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which produces 85PS of power and 114Nm of torque. This is the same engine that is offered with the manual transmission equipped variants of the car. The Tigor is also offered with a 1.05-lire diesel engine which produces 70PS of power and 140Nm torque. However, it is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

 

The XTA comes with full wheel covers for the 14-inch steel wheels, four speakers with the infotainment system that comes with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity for smartphones, steering mounted audio controls, rear parking sensors, two airbags and ABS with EBD. The top-spec XZA comes with a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with four speakers and two tweeters, a reversing camera, automatic climate control and 15-inch alloy wheels.

The new AMT cars will be on sale across the country in over 600 Tata Motors sales outlets from today.
