Forbes India.jpg

Entertainment News: Topping the Forbes India Celebrity 100 List seems to have become a habit for Salman Khan.

On the back of ₹253.25 crore earned through his film releases, television appearances and brand endorsements between October 1, 2017 & September 30, 2018, the 52-year-old bachelor actor became India’s highest-paid celebrity on the list for the third consecutive year.

Interestingly, on the second spot is not an actor but a cricketer. With Rs 228.09 crore earnings, it’s Virat Kohli.

Actor Akshay Kumar (₹185 crore) climbs up a spot to No 3.
Actor Deepika Padukone at No 4 (₹112.8 crore) is the highest-earning woman celebrity & also becomes the first woman to break into the top five positions.

At No. 5 in Mahendra Singh Dhoni with total earnings worth Rs 101.77 crore.

The usual suspects — Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sachin Tendulkar and Ajay Devgn follow next in the top 10 earners.

However, this year, only 18 women—including actors Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Taapsee Pannu, Nayanthara and ace shuttler PV Sindhu—have made it to the list. Last year, their number was 21.

Jacqueline Fernandez suggests five essentials for fitness wardrobe

Whether you're running marathons, sweating it out on the treadmill or channeling inner peace through yoga, you need the right wardrobe to keep yourself comfortable.

Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez, who has launched the active-wear brand Just F, has a list of essentials that every style diva should have in her workout wardrobe:

Snug Leggings: Ditch the boring old black leggings trend and opt for bold, bright colors and prints instead that will make you feel energized and ready to take on the (fitness) world. The perfect pair of leggings is well-fitted, hugs your body in just the right places and is made of stretchy, flexible fabric that moves with you. Cotton, lycra and mesh make for snug yet breathable leggings that are best suited to workouts.

Tank Tops: A tank top is the most versatile piece you could have in your fitness wardrobe. The fit and flattering top can be paired with leggings, shorts, yoga pants or skirts. It can be worn on its own, layered over a sports bra or under a sweatshirt. The best part is, tank tops are available in an array of prints, colours and silhouettes so you can mix and match for different outfits every day. You can make your tank top work double time by creating evening looks, wearing it under a blazers or with a transparent shirt.

Sports Bras: Nothing can dampen your workout spirit more than an ill-fitted, uncomfortable bra. Before hitting the gym, make sure you have a sturdy and supportive sports bra that is made to endure strenuous workouts. Pair them with leggings or shorts and layer them under a tee or tank for extra style points and added comfort.

Virushka Marriage : Anushka Sharma And Virat Kohli are Married - See Wedding Pics & Videos

Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma got hitched in Italy earlier today. Last week, the Internet exploded with rumours that actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli had a hush-hush wedding in Italy planned.

The couple got married Monday in a luxury resort in Tuscany, Italy.

The Will-they and Won't-they rumour mill stopped churning on Monday evening after the Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma tweeted from Tuscany, Italy that they were finally hitched.

Anushka Sharma's makeup was light and minimal which added an elegant touch to the entire look. The ethereal couple tied the knot at a picturesque location and from what we could see from the latest pictures of the wedding, the two looked celestial in Sabyasachi ensembles. The actress was seen in an exquisite tailor-made creation from the designer's boutique, a pale pink lehenga with 'Renaissance embroidery' in vintage English colours embellished with silver-gold metal thread, pearls and beads.

While the bridal jewellery was handcrafted with syndicate uncut diamonds, pale pink spinel and baroque Japanese cultured pearls by the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery collection.
Whereas, captain of the Indian Cricket Team Virat wore an ivory raw silk sherwani, hand-embroidered in a vintage Benarasi pattern and signature House buttons with an old Rose silk Kota safa with accessories by Sabyasachi.

The wedding was performed as per Hindu rituals. Anushka walked down the aisle with Virat yesterday in Italy, in a private ceremony.

The wedding took place at a countryside resort named Borgo Finocchieto, one of the most expensive holiday properties in the world. The property is located in a small village called Bibbiano - having a population of less than 100 people. It is in the Tuscany region of Italy.

The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21 which will be followed by a reception for couple's Bollywood friends and cricketers in Mumbai on December 26.

The Truth Behind the Indian Reality Shows

NoneAll of them are scripted. One of my friend worked with most of them as a coordinator and assistant cinematographer. He revealed that all these shows have dark sides too.
KBC
  • You will only get to play the game if you accept to pay the channel 75% of your winning amount. If you're knocked out in the middle you will get the winning amount only if your episode is broadcasted, or else nothing.
Indian Idol
  • You will get to compete only if you're a student of their music academy. If you're not, you will have to pay them a fee every week till you're competing. They will make up stories for TRP and tell you to describe how poor you are and how much Indian Idol means to you.
Roadies
  • It's a simple funda. Pay and get selected. the highest bid always wins.
Big Boss
  • When they're not shooting they're actually eating Pizza, browsing Facebook and watching porn. Whatever they say on the frame it's scripted. Mark my words. WHATEVER. The winner is decided even before they start Shooting the first episode because of course they have to make it look more real for the audience to believe it's genuine. The most fake reality show of India.
SaReGaMaPa
  • It's all about favoring. They don't give a darn about your voice.
Khatron Ke Khiladi
  • Ever wondered why such fluffy egg shaped boys who never attended an athletic event in life take part in this show? Because, it's all about the highest bid.
SplitsVilla
  • You thought they were real couples? You thought they really love each other and are heavenly enchanted? LOLOLOLOL......The small shows too are fake. It's just that not on the level of the ones listed above. But one thing is sure. Each and every reality show in India, be it small or big, the only thing the contestants have to do to keep participating is - FAVOURING
